How We Can Help

An insight-based approach that delivers results

Our unique value is that we use an insight-based approach with a focus on rigorously understanding the audience – performing research to understand needs, analyzing data to gain insights, and crafting strategies and tactics to generate demand and support product development, education and engagement.

An on-demand extension of your team

RampUp Health works alongside your team as a collaborative partner, adding depth, breadth and expertise when and where it’s needed. Think of us as an “on demand” extension of your team.

Creating digital capabilities that augment vs. replace human connection

It is our belief that digital health technology is not meant to replace human connection, but to augment it. Empowering patients with tools for greater self-management, wearable technologies that can serve as early warning systems, communication for public health and prevention education, guidance for behavior change, telehealth connections to care, analytics to deliver personalized precision medicine…these, and many more innovations will help us deliver better care through empowering patients themselves AND connecting them with clinicians.

How We Work

RampUp can add depth, breadth and expertise when and where it’s needed. We offer flexible arrangements so that our model fits easily into your culture and environment. We can work on contract, as consultants, or on an interim basis to fill gaps.

Our preferred approach is to become immersed with your teams, advancing your goals and helping with skills transfer, if needed. We can also be independent, owning initiatives, leveraging your team where you think it makes sense, but without being a burden on management. RampUp appreciates that each organization is different, and we can help define the best approach that fits your needs.

Our Values

Patient Voice

First and foremost we value the voice and experience of patients to provide direction and insight on all thing related to patients. Co-design sessions, patient advisory boards, research surveys, and polls are examples of tools in our toolkit.

Power of the Crowd

There is no substitute for the power of the crowd. The motto “better together” sums it up nicely. Crowdsourcing suggestions and solutions, learning from each other, and sharing – are some of the essential building blocks in our approach.

Our Values

Informed by Data

We admit it, we are total data nerds. There’s no substitute for data to arm us with insights that SHOULD drive the development of strategy, product direction, content or tactics to get you where you want to go. Whether it’s data you already have, data we can find and validate from secondary sources, or data from our own research, it’s a key component in our work. We also develop data products – packaging metrics as a product component.

Tech Geeks

Not only are we data nerds, but we are tech geeks. Our playground is the world of emerging technologies – wearables, chatbots, passive sensing, digital biomarketers, machine learning, predictive analytics, AI, you name it. But we don’t love technology for technology’s sake. We love it because it can enable more meaningful connections, help us replace repetitive time consuming tasks, can give us insights based on huge volumes of data that couldn’t be attained otherwise, can provide information to patients where they are, in ways that are more scalable, personalized, just in time.

Our Values

Collaborative, Not Competitive

Life is too short and the needs too great for us to be re-inventing the wheel. Part of what excites us is making industry connections, curating existing content or product functionality to create holistic solutions. This is another instance of our belief in the motto “better together.” Using open source and free/low cost components and technologies is a bonus for us. Accessibility and affordability can help us overcome barriers to “RampingUp” health for consumers.

Fun

Seriously, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We like to joke around, swap stories, get to know the YOU beyond the work YOU. If we can’t laugh together, then what CAN we do?
