Jill is an accomplished healthcare marketing, communications and content strategist with a successful track record of designing successful patient engagement strategies, conveying complex messages clearly, and developing creative approaches to keep messaging engaging over time.

Jill “grew up” in the creative agency world and developed a keen eye for strategic use of content and design to create meaningful opportunities for engagement and interaction across channels and media.

Her experience crosses a multitude of chronic health conditions, including chronic kidney disease, diabetes (types 1 and 2), heart disease, HIV/AIDs, multiple sclerosis, various cancers, and women’s health; and she has worked with a variety of health organizations, including digital health, pharmaceutical, medical device, health insurers and patient-centric research organizations.

Some of Jill’s recent work includes

  • Strategic planning, direction and responsibility for growth, engagement and maintenance of robust online patient research community platform; and launched corresponding app
  • Planning and implementation of content engagement strategies to acquire and boost monthly active users in community health platform
  • Strategic planning and content strategy for a pharmaceutical company’s patient platform, including designing a “first year on drug” communications stream that leverages insights and data to support the patient when they experience challenges
  • Supporting the launch and expansion of a novel diabetes program that seeks to encourage diabetes remission and sustainable behavioral change through evidence-based approach that combines wearables, health coaches, virtual doctor visits and incentives
  • Helped architect, build and market flagship Prize Challenge event to help find and accelerate innovations in diabetes; to date it has dispersed over $2,000,000 in cash and in-kind prize winnings; helping many novel life sciences companies advance the development of therapeutics and devices.
